The special times at his camp on Toledo Bend will be remembered and cherished forever. He will be truly missed by his hunting and fishing partners of the past seventeen years at Ballina Rod and Gun Club. He loved watching the sunsets at his son, Glen's ranch in Colorado and time with his son-in-law, Bill, on the Lake at his camp at Ballina. He loved playing his harmonica and singling along with his son, Joe and his family. He had very special father daughter relationship with Lisa and their time together will never be forgotten.

Dr. Hunt was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He cherished his faithful dog Goldie. He was true member of the greatest generation, injured while defending his country, without much mention of his sacrifice unless pressed by his family for the stories. Doctor Hunt, affectionately known by his friends and family as "Honey" or "Doc", was a very rare man, who never had a negative word to speak of anyone, whose perpetual smile and whistle showed us all how grateful he was for everyone and everything around him. He will be dearly missed by anyone fortunate to have known him.

Very special thanks to caregivers Lolita Benoit, Cheriva Green, Dr. Richard Harmon, and the staffs of Louisiana Hospice and St. Landry Home Health for your loving care of our Honey.
