Dr. Couvillon

Opelousas -A Funeral Service for, Dr. David O. Couvillon, will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 8, 2018, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Deacon Sammy Diesi will conduct the service.

Dr. Couvillion, a resident of Opelousas, died on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at his home in Opelousas, at the age of 78. He enjoyed flying, fishing, spending time with his family and friends, traveling, and reading,

He is survived by loving wife Von Howe Courville, of Opelousas, daughters, Nichole Pinson and her husband Clay of St. Francesville, and Mara England and her husband James Andew of Walker, brother, Thomas Couvillion, Lafayette, sisters, Aleyce Couvillion Hatch, of Oklahoma, and Linda Couvillon Lomenick of Lafayette, two grandchildren, Evan Pinson and Rayne England.

He is preceded in death by his son, David O. Couvillon, Jr. his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Corvillion.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas.
