Opelousas Funeral services for Mr. Dorsey J. Quebedeaux, 74, will be held at 3:00pm Friday, July 14, 2006 with a Mass of Christian Burial in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas.

Father Angelo Cremaldi will conduct the services.

Mr. Quebedeaux, a resident of Opelousas, native of Arnaudville, died at 6:05AM Thursday July 13, 2006 at Senior Village Nursing Home.

Mr. Quebedeaux was a farmer and a rancher and he served his country in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Mrs. Mavis Mary Landry Quebedeaux of Opelousas, LA., two sons: Dorsey J. Quebedeaux, Jr. of Henderson, LA. and Nathan Quebedeaux of Opelousas, LA.; a daughter, Mrs. Ricky Cynthia Ortego of Carencro, LA.; two brothers, Dudley Quebedeaux of Opelousas, LA and James Quebedeaux of Gonzales, LA.; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Mr. Quebedeaux was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph Emile and Adella Morin Quebedeaux.
