Dorothy Wyble

A funeral service will be held for, Dorothy Wyble, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2017, at the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas. Deacon Sammy Diesi will conduct the Service. Interment will follow at the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

Dorothy, age 81, a resident of Opelousas, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Lafayette General Hospital.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Mr. Austin Wyble of Opelousas, son, Derwin Wyble and his wife, Melanie of Opelousas, daughter, Denise Wyble and her companion, Joe Speyrer of Opelousas, brothers, Bernard Peck, Jr. and his wife, Sally of Slidell and A.T. Peck and his wife, Suzie of Opelousas, sisters, Ruby Tujague and her husband Lawrence of Baton Rouge, Andrienne Graffagnino of Houma, grandchildren, Spring Ball and her husband David, Devin Wyble and his fiancé Brandi, Dillon Graves, Dustin Wyble and his wife Katelyn, Tyler Graves and his fiancé Brittany, six great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Luda Bourque Peck.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas. A rosary will be prayed on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday, June 1, 2017, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
