Donna Marie Chautin Hidalgo

Opelousas Funeral services for Mrs. Donna Marie Chautin Hidalgo, 44, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 19, 2007, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas. Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park.

MSGR. Romero will conduct the services.

Mrs. Hidalgo was a native Opelousas and a resident of Rayne. She died at 8:21 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 in Rayne. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Douglas Hidalgo of Rayne; her mother, Marie Elia Leger Chautin of Opelousas; three daughters: April Celeste Miller Richard and husband, Richie of Rayne; Amanda Marie Miller and fianc Gregory Redondo of Duson; and Kelly Nicole Miller and fianc, Andre Broussard of Rayne; one brother, John Shane Chautin of Opelousas; two sisters: Carolyn Thibodeaux of Lawtell; and Janet Semien and husband, Larry of Opelousas; and five grandchildren: Dylan and Kelsey Richard, both of Rayne; Victoria Miller of Rayne; Diego Redondo of Duson; and Brennan Broussard of Rayne.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Edward Chautin; and one brother, Randy Chautin.

Visiting hours will be observed from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Thursday in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. On Friday, visitation will continue from 8:00 a.m. until the time of services.
