David Marks

Port Barre- A Funeral Service will be held for, David Mark Marks, on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Port Barre. Pastor Benji Richard will conduct the service. Burial will follow in Lower Waxia Cemetery in Waxia, LA.

David, age 57, a resident of Port Allen, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at his home. He loved cooking, fishing and hunting. He will also be remembered for his great sense of humor. David will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his children, David Brenner Marks and Madelynn Marks, both of Baton Rouge; brothers, Steve Marks and wife, Vilma of Baton Rouge, and Aubrey Marks of Lafayette; sisters, Virgie Marks Bishop of Arnaudville, and Christine Marks of Sunset. He is also survived by 4 nieces and 2 nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Florence Marks; and one brother, Lynn Barry Marks.

The family requests visitation be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home in Port Barre.
