Port Barre- A Mass of Christian Burial, for Daniel Michael Janet will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 7, 2017, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Daniel age 59, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley LeBlanc Janet of Port Barre, daughter, Shannon M. Janet and her fiancé, Jerry Bishop of New Orleans, and Heather Janet Ullrich husband, Aaron of Kenner, La., sister, Charlene Wagner and husband, Frank of Port Barre, grandchildren, Jessica and her husband, Jude, Chad, Gage, Jaidyn, and Tayge, and one great grandson, Liam.

He was preceded in death by father, Charles John Janet.

The family requests visitation be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre.
