Leander, Texas- Graveside funeral services for Mr. Dan A. Holliman, Jr., age 84, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2007, in the Bagdad Cemetery in Leander, Texas.

Mr. Dan was a native of Swartz, LA, a past resident of Opelousas and was currently residing in Washington, LA. He died at 7:35 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2007 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home of Ville Platte.

Survivors include a host of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of who served his country during WWII and the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Dan will be remembered as a wonderful person who loved to read. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Mr. Dan was preceded in death by his parents: Dan Holliman, Sr. and Vergie Reck Holliman.
