Melville--Funeral service will be held for Cynthia Ann Perez at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at First Pentecostal Church in Melville, Pastor Devin England will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the First Pentecostal Cemetery in Melville, La.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. in the church.

Cynthia, born on August 11, 1957, in Church Point, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She worked for a number of years at Med Express Ambulance Co., for the Town of Melville, and Immaculate Heart of Mary PCS of Melville. She had the privilege of bringing the elder sisters of the church on adventurous day trips.

Cynthia was known for her warm personality and kindness, always eager to share a smile. She most treasured time spent with family and friends, visiting, cooking, and serving coffee. She enjoyed working in her garden and canning. Her home was a gathering place filled with love and laughter, where she made everyone feel welcome. Her family remains grateful for her unwavering devotion to her church and church family.

She is survived by her daughter, Marcy Boudreaux, her brothers, Jerry Phillips (Geneva); her sisters, Carolyn Adams, Faye Pitre (Don), Olivia Jane Hall, Sandra Pitre, and Michelle Chustz (Grant); her grandchildren, Tracy Boudreaux, and Chevy Boudreaux; and her great-grandchildren, Ziva, Zachary, Zane, and Nathaniel, and lots of nieces and nephews, each sharing a special bond with her. 

Cynthia is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Enio Perez; her parents, Jessie and Ella Phillips; her son, Donnie Boudreaux; her brother, Charles Phillips; and her sister, Ella Rhoads.

Cynthia Ann Perez will be remembered for her loving nature, nurturing spirit, and the profound impact she had on the lives of those she encountered. Her legacy of compassion and devotion will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
