Cynthia O'Connor Billeaudeau, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on May 30, 2024 at her residence in Port Barre. She was born on October 21, 1954, in Plaisance, LA. Cynthia's warm and caring nature touched the lives of all who knew her. 

Cynthia's proudest accomplishments revolved around her passion for floral design. She worked as a talented florist for many years, where she poured her creativity into crafting beautiful arrangements that brought joy to many. Her eye for beauty and detail shined through every bouquet she created.

Above all else, Cynthia cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She found immense joy in their laughter and was always eager to create memories with them. Her presence brought light and love into their lives, leaving a lasting legacy of warmth and affection.

Cynthia is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, David Billeaudeau; son, "Chant" Jeremy Fontenot and wife, Passion; daughter, Rikki Bourque and husband, Chad Bourque; step-son, David Billeaudeau and wife Elizabeth; mother-in-law, Leitha "TaTee" Billeaudeau; brother, Bobby O'Connor; sister, Annette O'Connor; grandchildren, Jareth Meaux, Gage Meaux, Sloane West, Tayte West, Jessica Fontenot, Bailey Fontenot, Jordan Fontenot, Kristen Fontenot, Isabella Bourque, Xander Bourque, Brett Hebert, Austin Atkins, David "Tripp" Billeaudeau and Carlie Billeaudeau; great-grandchildren, Ember, Braizen, Saelor and Esme.  

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Marissa Guillory; and her parents, Helen and Elvin O'Connor.

Cynthia's memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her kindness, creativity, and unwavering love for her family will be cherished forever. May she rest in peace knowing she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
