Opelousas Funeral services for Clifton Joseph Henry, 90, will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday February 7, 2007, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas.

Reverend Jefferson DeBlanc will conduct the services.

Mr. Henry died at 10:45AM Monday, February 5, 2007 at Maison de Ville Nursing Home in Opelousas.

Clifton J. Henry was a veteran of the United States Army having served on the European front during World War II.

Survivors include: two sons, Leroy Henry and wife Kathleen Kitty and Ray Henry and wife Wanda all of Opelousas; a daughter, Edna Vidrine and husband Wayne of Opelousas; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Mr. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Cecelia Boon Henry; wife Dorothy Mae Hebert Henry; two brothers, Leroy and Clarence Henry; two sisters, Hilda Bolfa and Beulah Fontenot; a grandchild, Kenneth Roy Vidrene and a great great grandchild, Caleb Guillory.

Visiting hours will be observed on Tuesday February 6, 2007 from 8:00AM-10:00PM and reopen on Wednesday from 8:00AM until service time. A rosary will be recited at 7:00PM on Tuesday.
