Clarice Faul

Opelousas- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for, Clarice Dossmann Faul, on Friday, October 12, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. in the Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Opelousas. Monsignor Paul Metrejean will celebrate the Mass. Rite of Committal will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas.

Clarice, age 62, a resident of Opelousas, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at her residence with her family at her side. Clarice enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. In her early years she enjoyed going to the casino. Clarice loved spending time outdoors watching the hummingbirds enjoy the goodies left for them in the feeders. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her mother, Billie Mackey; daughters, Ashley Theriot and husband, Joey, and Alicia Faul; brothers, Donald "Donnie" Dossmann and Carl Dossmann; sisters, Rose Tujague and Denise Ragsdale; grandchildren Ian and Adisen Theriot; her special friend, Chris Ducharme; and her granddog, Remi.

She is preceded in death by her father L.J. Dossmann; grandparents, Benjamin Perry and Elda Carriere Perry; aunt, Georgia Perry Guidry; uncles, Benjamin Perry and James Fred "Toppy" Perry; her nephew, Jess Meche; and her beloved chihuahua, Memee Girl.

The family requests visitation be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas. The rosary will be recited by Deacon Jerome Collins at 6:30 p.m. Thursday evening. The funeral home will reopen for visitation on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Dossmann, Carl Dossmann, Chris Ducharme, Joey Theriot, Haley Levet and Mark Green. Honorary pallbearers will be Ian Theriot and Aiden Faul.
