LEONVILLE- A Funeral Service will be held for Cindy Hebert on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Leo Catholic Church in Leonville. Fr. Darren Eldridge will officiate the service. Burial will follow in St. Leo the Great Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026 evening in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home by Deacon Dwayne Joubert. Visitation will resume on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m in the funeral home.

Cindy, born on September 12, 1968, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at her home on January 25, 2026. She was a vibrant soul whose life was marked by her unwavering love for her family and friends.

Cindy's warmth creativity brought together around her, and she found great joy in crafting and cooking. Known for her spirited approach to life, she often infused humor into her daily activities, occasionally with a playful notion of cruising and traveling that endeared her to those who knew her well.

She cherished her role as a devoted wife to her husband, Michael Hebert, and her legacy continues through her darling daughters, Destiny Jackson of Marksville, LA, and Holly Bordelon Phares of Biloxi, MS, as well as her step son, Joey Hebert of LaPlace, LA. Cindy's love also extended to her cherished grandchildren, Harbor and Hunter Phares, who brought immense joy to her life.

Cindy is survived by her beloved family, including her brothers, Roger Sibley of Ocean Springs, MS, Stacy Sibley and his wife Kristi of Grand Bay, AL, and Ted Sibley and his wife Lynn of Huffman, TX, along with her sister, Sandy Sibley and her wife Elizabeth of Baytown, TX. Her family and friends will forever remember her spirited personality, her dedication to those she loved, and the laughter she shared.

Cindy is precede in death by her father, Ellis Earl Sibley and her mother, Regina Sue Miller Sibley.

As we reflect on Cindy's life, we honor the memories she created and the love she shared so generously. Her spirit will continue to inspire and comfort all who were fortunate enough to know her.
