Christine Allemond

Leonville- A Mass of Christian burial for Christine Allemond, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2017, in the St. Leo Catholic Church. Fr. Ken Domingue will celebrate the Mass. Rite of Committal will be held in St. Leo Mausoleum.

Christine, age 47 passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at her home in Opelousas. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by loving Husband of 22 years, Mr. Jerry Allemond of Leonville, her mother, Mary V. Bergeron and husband, Randy of Leonville, her father, Ronald John Smith and his wife, Sharon of Prairie Ronde, her son, Daniel Allemond of Leonville, her grandmother, Frances Lanclos of Leonville, her brothers, Shannon Smith and wife, Candy of Spring Texas, and Ronald John Smith II of Prairie Ronde, her mother and father in-law, Joe and Lydia Allemond of Leonville, her brother-in-law, John Allemond of Leonville, her sister-in-law, Ellen Savoy of Leonville, and a host of aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Leroy and Elsie Vidrine, and Octave and Edina Smith, her step sister, Summer Bergeron.

The family requests visitation be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the St. Leo Catholic Church. A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 a.m.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas, LA.
