Opelousas-Funeral services for Charles Ricky Saucier will be held on Monday, May 25, 2026 at 1:00 pm in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Benny Reppond will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the St. Leo the Great Cemetery in Leonville.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 25, 2026 in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel from 9:00 am until time of service.

Charles Ricky Saucier, a devoted family man and respected owner in the rental industry, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026, at Lake Charles Memorial Health System in Lake Charles. Born on January 8, 1963, in St. Martinville, Louisiana, Ricky lived a life marked by dedication both to his career and to those he cherished most—his family.

Throughout his life, Ricky was known for the deep love and commitment he held for his family, a sentiment found at the core of his being. His legacy is reflected in the close bonds he formed with his loved ones as well as in the thriving business he nurtured with integrity and care.

Charles is survived by his devoted sons, James Brent Saucier and his wife Brittany, Adam Blake Saucier, and Reese Saucier. He leaves behind cherished grandchildren who held a special place in his heart: grandsons Drake, Bryson, and Tucker Saucier, along with granddaughters Ellie and Jolie Ragusa. Ricky also is survived by his brothers Thomas Patrick Saucier and Paul A. Saucier, and his sister Lucy Ann Lanclos. Among his extended family, he was treasured by his nephews Charles Guillory, Robert Saucier, and Erin Saucier, as well as his niece Brittany Hargrave.

Ricky was preceded in death by his beloved father, Jimmy Saucier, and mother, Shirley Ann Sonnier Saucier. He also mourned the loss of his brothers Clay Saucier and John Alfred Saucier, his grandson Hudson Blake Saucier, and his brother-in-law Kerry Lanclos.

The life of Charles Ricky Saucier was one of steadfast commitment to both family and profession. Those who knew him remember a man who not only built a successful business but also nurtured a family filled with love and unity. His passing leaves a significant void, yet his memory and spirit will continue to inspire and guide those whose lives he touched.

He will be profoundly missed, yet always deeply remembered by his family and friends who carry forward his legacy of love and dedication.

Pallbearers wlll be James Brent Saucier, Adam Blake Saucier, Reese Saucier, Drake Saucier, Bryson Saucier, and Robert Saucier.
