Carl is survived by his loving wife Anna Blanchard of Sunset, sons, Greg Folse of Sunset, and John Shoemaker of Spanish Fort, Alabama, daughters, Alissa Karnes if Missouri, and Anita Folse Robichaux of Bandera, Texas.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents, Carleton and Octavia Blanchard, sons, Mark, Christopher, and Michael Blanchard.
