Carl Daville

Opelousas -A Funeral Service will be held for Carl DaVille on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Pastor Greg Gaspard and Pastor Feron Bertrand will officiate the service.

Carl, a resident of Opelousas, entered into eternal rest on April 12, 2023, at the age of 67. Carl loved playing basketball, fishing and playing pranks on his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Carl is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Claudette Guillory DaVille of Opelousas, sons, Jared W. DaVille of Lafayette, Rory S. DaVille and his wife, Karen of Cleburne, Texas, and Caleb L. DaVille of Opelousas, brother, Sherman Darbonne of Jackson, La., sisters, Delores Blood of Turkey Creek, Priscilla Bourque of Kaplan, Bobbye White of New Iberia, and Debbie Guy of Zachary, grandchildren, Seth and Sandon LeBlanc, Hayden Casperson, Ryan Golden, Noah DaVille, Zachary DaVille, and Madison Golden, and one great grandchild, Haleigh LeBlanc.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents, Sherman “Bee” Granger, Ruby Boone Granger, Linton DaVille and Lucy O’Pry Granger, brother, Larry Granger, and in laws, Louis and Merlene B. Guillory.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas.
