Opelousas- A Funeral Service will be held for Bryson “Bubba” Kyle Guidry at 12:00 noon on Monday, March 2, 2020, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Pastor Benny Reppond will conduct the service. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park.
Bryson, age 3, entered into eternal rest cancer free on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at St. Jude Children’s Hospital in his mother’s arms with his father at his side.
Bryson was a goofy little boy who enjoyed making everyone around him laugh. He loved life and spending time with all his family and friends. He loved animals especially dinosaurs. He will be so greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his parents, Christopher Guidry and Celine Guidroz; sisters, Riley and Reagan Guidry; half-sisters, Peyton and Kara Melancon; half-brothers, Carson and Myles Melancon; grandmother, Julie “Vickie” Andrepont; grandfather, Albert Guidry; great-grandmother, Carolyn Andrepont; uncle, Beaux Guidroz and girlfriend, Lauren Lafleur, their children and Bryson’s first cousins, Jace and Taylin Guidroz; uncle and godfather, Tyler Guidroz, his child and Bryson’s first cousin, Karslyn Briley; great-uncle, Brad Andrepont; godmother, Skyla Thibodeaux, her children and Bryson’s friends, Kaden and Kaylee Thibodeaux; and Bryson’s special friends, Cody Christian, Kelly Morgan , Khora Morgan and Jude Morgan.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Amantha Doucet; great-grandmother, Thelma Guidry; great-grandfather, Donald Andrepont; and great-uncle, Scott Andrepont.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas. Pastor Benny Reppond will lead a celebration of life service at 6:00 p.m. and Deacon Dwayne Joubert will recite the rosary at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. Visitation will continue Monday, March 2, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.
