Brenda Faye Billeaudeau

Opelousas – A Memorial Funeral Service will be held at Sibille Funeral Home, at 2309 George Drive on September 21, 2024, from 9:00 to noon, with a Rosary recited at 10:30 and service is at 11:00, for Brenda F. Billeaudeau, age 73, entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA. She was born in Ville Platte, LA, on October 10, 1950, to her parents, James C. and Miralda J. Billeaudeau.

Brenda received her Master’s plus 30 in Education and went on to teach the youth of our nation through the Lafayette Parish School System for many years. Her dedication and countless hours mentoring her students became the pride and joy of her career. Brenda was a beloved sister, aunt, godmother, teacher, and friend, whose presence touched the lives of many, including her students.

Brenda is survived by her brothers, James L. Billeaudeau and wife, Sandra of Lafayette and Jonathan F. Billeaudeau (Paula) of Lafayette; sister Lorraine Davenport (Artis) of Georgia; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents James C. Billeaudeau and Miralda J. Billeaudeau.

As we mourn the loss of Brenda, let us celebrate the legacy of love and kindness she leaves behind. May her memory be a source of comfort to all those who knew and cherished her during her lifetime.
