Opelousas Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Joe Vidrine, 60, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas with burial following in Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

Father Angelo Cremaldi will conduct the services.

Mr. Bobby was a life-long resident of Opelousas. He died at 5:35 pm on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at his residence.

Survivors include three daughters: Roxanne Phillips and husband, Tracy of Ville Platte; Michelle Soileau of Plaisance, and Paula Guilmette and husband, James of Gaffrey, SC; two brothers: Kenneth Vidrine of Grand Coteau and Carl Trent Vidrine of Opelousas; one sister, Connie Edwards of Opelousas; and 8 granchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Sebastien Vidrine; and parents: Antoine Brama Vidrine and Georgianna Smith Vidrine.

Visiting hours will be observed from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2008, in Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. On Saturday, visitation will continue from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. A Rosary service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday evening.
