Opelousas Funeral services for Arthur Shane Bell, 44, will be held at 1:00 pm, October 4, 2006, in Sibille Funeral Home Chapel, Opelousas, La. with burial in St Charles Cemetery in Grand Coteau.

Pastor Benny Reppond will conduct the services.

Shane a resident of Opelousas died at 5:25 am, Monday, October 2, 2006 at his residence after a brief illness. Shane was a plumber by trade and owned his own business, Bell Plumbing, in Opelousas.

Shane is survived by his Mother, Nelda Duet Bell of Opelousas; Son, Christopher Bell and wife Amy of Jacksonville, Fl.; Daughter, Candace Bell, Opelousas; Brothers, James Jimmy Bell, Lorne Woodson John Pumpkin Bell and companion Myrtle of Opelousas, Robert Cliff Caboose Bell and wife Sadie of Sorrento, La.; Sister, Kitty Bell Sibille and husband Blane of Plano, TX. and 2 Grandchildren.

Shane was preceded in death by his Father, James Jimmy Bell.

Visiting hours will be observed from 3:00 pm, Tuesday, October 3, 2006 and the Funeral Home will reopen on Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at 8:00 am until time of service.
