Opelousas-Funeral services for Anna Mae Domingeaux will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 11:00 am at Christian Life Center in Opelousas. Pastor Benny Reppond will officiate the service. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Grand Coteau.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Christian Life Center from 9:00 am until time of service.

Anna Mae Domingeaux, age 82, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026, at her residence in Opelousas, surrounded by her loving family.

Anna is survived by her sons, Joseph Arthur (Tammy) Domingeaux of Opelousas, and Ricky Domingeaux of Opelousas; daughters, Linda Domingeaux of Alexandria, Elaine Domingeaux of Opelousas, and Sheryl (David) Lazare of Beaumont, TX; brothers, Joseph Ray Smith (Linda) of Opelousas, and Gabriel J. Smith (Elaine) of Opelousas; sisters, Leona Smith of Houston, TX, and Selena Thibodeaux (Felix) of Iowa, La; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Peter Domingeaux, Sr.; parents, Albert & Alina Smith; son, Peter Domingeaux Jr.; daughter, Mary Madeline Domingeaux; and granddaughter, Rachelle Domingeaux.

Anna’s passing leaves a significant void, yet her memory and spirit will continue to inspire and guide those whose lives she touched. She will be profoundly missed, yet always deeply remembered by her family and friends.
