Opelousas – A Chapel Service will be held for Allen Guillory on Saturday, February 05, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Deacon Dwayne Joubert will celebrate the chapel service. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Landry Catholic Church Mausoleum in Opelousas.

Allen, age 82, a resident of Opelousas, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 02, 2022, in Opelousas at his residence with his loving family by his side.

Allen is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Marie Elaine Latiolais Guillory of Opelousas, two sons, Bart Anthony Guillory, wife Karen of Opelousas, Craig John Guillory of Opelousas, daughter, Angela Marie Guillory Hansen of Sunset, one brother, Louis John (L.J) Guillory of Opelousas, one sister, Emily Guillory Faulkenberry of Mamou, four grandchildren, Gabrielle Marie & Madeleine Leigh Hansen, Sophie Lynn & Cole Anthony Guillory.

Allen is preceded in death by his parents, Louis Guillory and Agnes Smith Guillory, one brother, Emery Guillory, three sisters, Loretta Guillory Cote, Mabris Guillory Deranger, and Velma Guillory Dirmann.

Pallbearers will be Opelousas Police Department.

Allen was a retired police captain of Opelousas City Police and is also a Veteran from the United States Army. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and sports.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 04, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home chapel. A Rosary will be recited on Friday February 04, 2022, at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday February 05, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M.
