Albert Quebedeaux, born on September 20, 1953, in Lafayette, Louisiana, peacefully departed this life on October 16, 2025, at the age of 72.

Albert dedicated many years of his life as a cross-country truck driver, embodying the spirit of adventure and exploration across the open roads of America. In addition to his career on the highways, he served as a corrections officer for the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Department, where he committed himself to upholding safety and order within the community.

Albert's work ethic, loyalty, and sense of duty were evident to all who knew him. He built a reputation not just as a professional, but also as a neighbor and friend. His passion for his work and his willingness to lend a helping hand shaped lasting impressions on those fortunate enough to cross his path.

Albert is survived by his wife, Susie Quebedeaux; son, Chadd Quebedeaux and his wife, Sicily Quebedeaux; daughter, Dana Quebedeaux Fontenot and her fiancé, Tony Duplechain; brother, Howard Quebedeaux Jr. (Pee-Wee); sister, Sable Guilbeau and her husband, Ricky Guilbeau; 7 grandchildren, Dawn Guillory, Tyler Guillory, Kristen Desormeaux, Taylor Quebedeaux, Lane Quebedeaux, Connor Quebedeaux, and Camille Quebedeaux; 7 step grandchildren, Cameron Doucet, Jordon Doucet, Carli Doucet, Timothy Doucet, Percy Doucet, Kynlei Doucet, and Brody Mires; 9 great- grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, Adam Quebedeaux, Joe Quebedeaux, Kevin Quebedeaux, Shelia Quebedeaux, Sonia Vidrine, and Brandon Guilbeau; and best-friend, Dudley Barron.

Albert is preceded in death by his parents, Norbert Howard Quebedeaux and Mable Trahan Quebedeaux; daughter, Dawn Quebedeaux; and son, Jason Quebedeaux.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the graveside service, which will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 5:00 PM, at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Port Barre.

Albert Quebedeaux will be fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched. His legacy of hard work, integrity, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
