Adele Guidry

Opelousas-A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for, Adele Guidry, at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018, in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Fr. Austin Leger will celebrate the Mass. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Mausoleum in Washington.

Adele age 96, a resident of Opelousas, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018, Heritage Manor Nursing Home.

She is survived by his children, Kernel Guidry and his wife, Christine of Garland, Delores Reviere and her husband, Carlton of Garland, Gornel Soileau and her husband, Dale of Garland, and Connie Miller of Albany, LA., numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by parents, J.P. and Virginia Stelly, husband, Joseph Gordy Guidry, son, Joseph Clinsey Guidry.

The family requests visitation be held on Friday, February 23, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service in the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas. A Rosary Service will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
