Port Barre – A Funeral Service for Laura Way Galloway will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at the First Baptist Church in Port Barre. Pastor Benji Richard will conduct the Service. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Port Barre.

Laura, age 58, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Laura was a beautician for 20 years and the owner of J&L Housekeeping. She enjoyed Jeep rides, fishing, camping, with her family and friends. She loved cooking and enjoyed having company. Most of all she enjoyed being with her two daughters.

Laura is survived by her daughters, Jamy Galloway (Jason Lanclos) of Port Barre, Stacey Galloway Ducote and her husband, Gerald of Port Barre, stepson, Willie Galloway, Jr. of Florida, grandchildren, Noah and Alexa Ducote and one step grandson, Dylan Galloway, brothers-in-law’s, Donald Estilette and his wife Monica of Port Barre, and Larry Sharp and his wife Vanessa Galloway of Turkey.

Laura is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Galloway, Sr., parents, Joseph and Hazel Way, sister-in-law, Eva Lee Leger and her husband, Carey.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at 8:00 a.m. 10:30 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home in Port Barre. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Donald Estilette, Larry Sharp, Kirt Rodriguez, Chad Theriot, Jeffery Richard, and Carey Leger, Jr.

Words of Comfort to the family may be expressed at Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre.
