Port Barre- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for, Ruby Saucier Hebert, on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre. Fr. Clint Trahan will celebrate the Mass. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Port Barre.
Ruby, age 88, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Pointe Coupee Nursing Home. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth Hebert (Sally), Rickie Hebert (Susie), Ramona Hebert (Bruce) and Sherry Pitre (Bobby), sister Emma Saucier, nine grandchildren, twenty- two great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Felicia Saucier, her husband, Howard Hebert and her twin sister Pearl Gambrell, great grandson, Devon Richard.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Port Barre. The rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be, Rickie Hebert, Jr., Jody Hebert, Shane Hebert, Bobby Pitre, Shane Johnson and Chance Sonnier.

Deepest condolences to all my Hebert cousins. I have very fond memories of your Mom and growing up with the Hebert siblings. Living right behind your house made for great play mates.

Sorry for family's loss. I didn't know this lady . I just thought I'd share with you'll kinda cute coincidence. Y name is Emma like her sister and my mother's name was Felicia like her mother. She died March 11, 1991 at age of 67.
