I am from Eden, Mississippi and I grew up going to Eden Baptist Church. Melissa, her mom and her sisters would sing pretty regularly and they had the most beautiful voices. Then when I was getting married she knew that my daddy wasn’t alive and my mom didn’t work so Melissa helped us put together a beautiful wedding for very little money. Between her and Mrs. Irene Street I had a wedding that most girls only dream of! Thank you Melissa for being so sweet and beautiful. My prayers are with the entire Parker/Hunt family.

Words fail me when I try to share how heartbroken I am for you, Lisa and Adam, in the loss of your mom. I also hurt for her grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews because I understand the magnitude of loss for each of you. I share your pain; I share your sorrow. I loved Melissa...I loved everything about her. Great memories and lots of laughter punctuated our friendship over the years. I will miss her.

For the short period of time I’ve known Ms. Hunt she has taught me so much! She was a very precious jewel on this earth. She has a beautiful family that loves her so much. She wasn’t just a patient to me, she was a very close friend of mine. Knowing her, has been a blessing from day one. I’m very heartbroken that she passed so early but as a Christian I know that God has a plan for everything and it was always clear to me. Prayers of comfort for this precious family in their time of need.
Lisa, Jake, Jackson & your Brothers & Families,
Uncle Jesse & I are so very sorry for your loss. However I know you know she is at home in her mansion that our Lord has prepared for her. Living a life with no pain or suffering. Just think of how beautiful it must be to stand in His light...I can only image how wonderful that must be. We love you & your family so much.
