T-taunt was a special lady and will be missed. I have many favorite childhood memories of being at her home; playing with my cousins, chicken plucking parties, crawfish boils, feeding her cows and on and on. I would cry when it was time to leave. I don't remember her ever speaking harshly to me either. Still lived visiting with her and drinking coffee and asking her genealogy questions. We are privileged to have known her and blessed to have her as an Aunt.

Melba was such a sweet person! She was one of the first people I met in Louisiana and she showed me how to peel crawfish. I will never forget the good times we had in her home.

Precious family, I'm sure your mom had a big hand in modeling behaviors that shaped the special people that you are with awesome love of life and people and great sense of humor. Y'all have shared lots of stories and your growing up and even today how close your family is and how y'all love to gather together. I pray all these precious memories help each of you get through this loss. Please know that my arms reach out to hug each of you and my heart hurts for your loss and y'all will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
