Port Barre- A Mass of Christian Burial, for Daniel Michael Janet will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 7, 2017, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Daniel age 59, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley LeBlanc Janet of Port Barre, daughter, Shannon M. Janet and her fiancé, Jerry Bishop of New Orleans, and Heather Janet Ullrich husband, Aaron of Kenner, La., sister, Charlene Wagner and husband, Frank of Port Barre, grandchildren, Jessica and her husband, Jude, Chad, Gage, Jaidyn, and Tayge, and one great grandson, Liam.
He was preceded in death by father, Charles John Janet.
The family requests visitation be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre.
I will miss you for you are the best brother a sister can have. I will miss you especially when you would play your drums. Tell our dad that I miss him too. Till we see each other again. Will always love you.

We would like to tell you all how sorry we are for your loss. Danny was amazing. I remember when I was young my brother and I went to cousin Shirley house and we went bowling and we were in the car and Danny taught me the song about forts were so funny. I remember older going to see he in the band he was in enjoying listening to him play drums. Well he in heaven now playing the drums in the angel band. He is with his loving Dad now. To my daughter Heather and her Dad's family...I am truly sorry for your loss. I'm heart broken that he left this life too soon. The one thing you can take comfort in...is that he didn't continue to suffer. Prayers for all of to heal from this loss.
