I am so sorry for your loss of Mr Devillier. It's hard to loss a family member and friend in death. Jesus too, was no stranger to death while he was on earth. He felt the grief of losing people around him; the Bible says he cried for Lazarus when he heard he had died. I wanted to share a scripture with you that I hope brings you some comfort. The Bible assures us that the time will come when “death will be no more,” so no one will be growing old and then dying.—Revelation 21:4.God can provides comfort through his Word, the Bible. Paul wrote: “All the things that were written aforetime were written for our instruction, that through our endurance and through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope.” (Romans 15:4)
I will hold your family in my prayers.
