OPELOUSAS- A memorial service for Ms. Donna Pitre, will be held at a later date.
Donna, age 52, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at her residence. She will be remembered as a huge fan of NASCAR. Donna enjoyed lying out in the sun and swimming. In her early years she loved spending time with her father while deer hunting. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by father Ray Pitre and wife, Ginger; sons, Caymin Pitre and wife, Elizabeth, Destin Pitre and Ian Pitre; brothers, Ronald James Pitre and Michael "Mike" Pitre; and her 2 grandchildren, Cayden and Noah Pitre.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Iris Elaine Pitre.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas, LA.

Ms. Donna loved all of us kids, she put a roof over our heads when we needed a place to stay. She had so much love in her heart. She was so excited for her second grandbaby coming. I know she will watch over them and protect them.
It's been a long time since we hung around alot but we go back many years. You will be sadly missed by many. You touched the lives of many people. It was really a great privilege to have known you. May You RIP my friend.
