Percy J. Ozenne

Opelousas Funeral services for Percy J. Ozenne, age 71, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2011, with a service in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the St. Landry Cemetery.
Deacon Sammy Diesi will officate the service.
Percy was a native and a lifetime resident of Opelousas. He died on Friday, July 15, 2011, at Opelousas General Health System. He was a truck driver for Shell Oil Company.

Survivors include his children Mike Ozenne of Opelousas, Gene Ozenne
wife, Misty of Opelousas, and Pam Bourque of Alexandria, LA., brothers Roy Blackie Ozenne wife, Melinda of Arnaudville, sisters Blanche Grimmette husband, Bradley of Krotz Springs, Theresa Miller husband, Alvin of Port Barre, Marie Noel husband, Adam of Groves, TX., Armonce Wyble husband, Charles of Port Arthur, TX., three grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents Eulise J. and Elvina Portal Ozenne, seven brothers, and three sisters.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Wednesday, July 20, 2011, from 9 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
